Great news! Nice to see a study that reflects what we all have known! I Will continue to keep my kids in dance, hockey, soccer, lacrosse and runDisney races. Its a part of the job of being a parent to teach your kids the importance of physical fitness and healthy eating. This is NOT something that they will pick up on their own. It must be taught and reinforced by us as parents setting the example. If we’re not following the same example were are trying to get our kids to follow they WILL catch on and say to themselves ”if they’re not doing it why do I need to?” I’m sure you have even done it yourself in your own life when someone tries to convince you to do something. If they’re not following it themselves are you not less inclined to do it as well yourself? Be the POSITIVE influence in your children’s lives that they need! Trust me I see the ill effects of people’s lifestyle choices later in their lives everyday at work! Have a great day and #KeepSmilin 🙂
